Hosta 'Frensham Icy Blue Waters'

Registered by June Colley and John Baker of England in 2020, this slow growing cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a large size hosta about 23 inches tall by 33 inches wide with "icy" blue-green foliage. The broadly ovate leaves are upright growing and relatively flat with a glaucous bloom on top. Near white flowers bloom on scapes up to 23 inches tall from July into August followed by viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "...Intense icy blue colour.  One of the bluest as compared to all Tardianas. Remains blue unless watered from above...remains blue in semi-shade."
