Hosta 'Frills'

Another seedling selection which originated from Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan, this cultivar was registered on his behalf by Rod Kuenster of Iowa in 2010. It grows to a medium size (16 inches high by 48 inches wide). The light gold foliage is slightly rippled, broadly ovate, slightly twisted and moderately wavy with a dull glaucous bloom on top. The very heavy veins of the leaves are green in color. Near white flowers are produced in mid-July into August. It sets seeds.
