Hosta 'Frilly Frolic'
 

 

This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Sea Frolic' × H. kiyosumiensis which was registered by Don Dean of Minnesota in 2015. A large size hosta, the clump grows to about 25 inches in height with a spread of around 59 inches.

The slightly blue-green leaves are broadly ovate, slightly folded, slightly twisted, intensely wavy, moderately corrugated and have a glaucous bloom on top. Pale lavender, tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August and it sets viable seeds. 'Frilly Frolic' is quite sun tolerant according to the registration information.
