Originated by
Bate Aukema of the
Netherlands, this
non-registered cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Frisian
Waving Steel' × (H. 'Mikawa-no-yuki' ×
H. 'Gilt by Association'). It is said to be a
yellow version of H. 'H. 'Frisian Waving
Steel'. So, it is probably a medium size hosta with
rippled leaves and striped lavender flowers.
 Not
to be confused with H. 'Yellow Waves'.
