Hosta 'Frost Giant'

Wyatt Lefever originated this cultivar with is a seedling of H. 'Galaxy'. It was later registered by Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina in 2008. As the name implies, this hosta grows into a giant size around 28 inches high with a spread of about 66 inches.

Its blue-green foliage has a yellow marginal variegation which becomes creamy white later in the summer. The leaves are slightly rippled, slightly wavy, broadly ovate and lightly corrugated with a glaucous bloom on top. It flowers from June into July on 3 foot tall scapes.
