cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by
Henry Ross of
Gardenview Horticultural Park in Ohio and registered on his behalf by
Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. A fast growing, medium size (16 inches high
by 36 inches wide) hosta, 'Frosty'
has rich blue-green foliage of the
H. 'Sieboldiana'
type. The leaves are slightly rippled, slightly wavy,
broadly ovate and have a thin glaucous bloom on top. Near white flowers bloom from late June into July.
