Hosta 'Frosty'

This non-registered cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by Henry Ross of Gardenview Horticultural Park in Ohio and registered on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. A fast growing, medium size (16 inches high by 36 inches wide) hosta, 'Frosty' has rich blue-green foliage of the H. 'Sieboldiana' type. The leaves are slightly rippled, slightly wavy, broadly ovate and have a thin glaucous bloom on top. Near white flowers bloom from late June into July.
