Hosta 'Gabber'

Originated by Marco Fransen and Joyce Fransen of Fransen Hostas in the Netherlands this non-registered hosta is a sport of H. 'Bamse'. The large size (22 inches tall by 49 inches wide) hosta has green foliage with a greyish cast and a chalky white underside. Near white, tubular flowers which have vertical, pale lavender stripes bloom from July into August.

According to Wikipedia, "Gabber (/ˈɡębər/; Dutch: [ˈxɑbər]) is a style of electronic dance music and a subgenre of hardcore techno, as well as the surrounding subculture. The music is more commonly referred to as Hardcore, which is characterised by fast beats, distorted & heavier kickdrums, with darker themes and samples, and was developed in Rotterdam and Amsterdam in the 1990s..."
