Hosta 'Gabriel's Horn'

Originated by Don Rawson of Michigan, this non-registered fast growing, giant size (28 inches high by 60 inches wide) cultivar cultivar is a sport of H. 'Gabriel's Wing'.The bright golden-yellow colored foliage is slightly rippled, slightly folded and dull on top. Very pale lavender, tubular flowers bloom from mid-June into July on scapes 46 inches tall.

In the Country Garden & Gifts website says, "Imagine a bright gold 'Empress Wu'...that is exactly what Hosta 'Gabriel’s Horn' is!"
 

Like a trumpet, 'Gabriel's Horn' has bright gold leaves. An all-gold sport of ‘Gabriel’s Wing’. The leaves are gently rippled. Sun tolerant and holds its color well throughout the summer.
