Hosta 'Gaiety'

This medium sized (16 inches high) light green hosta with white margin was registered by Paul Aden in 1986. It is a sport of Hosta 'Hoopla'. The leaves are slightly lobed at the base and are slightly corrugated. Lavender flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Though its popularity has declined since its introduction in the 1980s, it still rates highly, even when compared to more recent cultivars."

Sports of this cultivar include H. 'Good as Gold'.

Similar cultivars include H. 'American Dream' and H. 'Saint Elmo's Fire'.
