Hosta 'Galetta'

Registered by Gerhard & Renate Ragus of Germany in 2016, this upright growing cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Galaxy' × H. 'Violetta'. It grows into a large size hosta about 19 inches high by 23 inches wide with green foliage that has white and yellow streaked variegation. The leaves are broadly ovate, moderately cupped, flat and dull on top. Pale purple flowers with stripes bloom from June into July on scapes up to 37 inches tall followed by seed pods with white stripes.

The registration materials state: "Open mound with leaves like ice cornets; not typical with streakers..."
