Hosta 'Gene Pool'

 

Originated by Don Rawson of Michigan, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is an upright growing, large size hosta with blue-green foliage that has a creamy yellow streaked variegation. The leaves are heavily corrugated, moderately cupped and forms an open, unruly clump with thick substance.

 

'Gene Pool' is a large, intensely corrugated hosta of unknown parentage. The leaves are beautifully streaked blue and creamy white and are nicely cupped, with white backs. Pod and pollen fertile.
