Hosta 'Gigantosaurus'

Originated by Hans Hansen of Walters Gardens, Inc. of Michigan, this cultivar was registered in 2021 as a seedling of an unnamed streaked sport of H. ‘Empress Wu’ × H. 'Blueberry Muffin'. It is a giant size (30 inches high by 76 inches wide) hosta with blue-green foliage that has creamy yellow marginal variegation. The broadly ovate leaves are moderately corrugated and have deeply impressed veins. It bears pale lavender, bell shape flowers from June into August and sets viable seeds.

According to the Registration materials: "Very large blue with white margins...creamy yellow margins mature to creamy white in summer..."
