Hosta 'Give Me Room'

Registered by Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2017, this upright growing, large size (20 inches high by 48 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Blue Umbrellas'. The dark green leaves have flat margins and are broadly ovate, moderately corrugated, slightly folded and wavy. Medium lavender flowers with stripes bloom from June into July on scapes 44 to 55 inches tall. It sets seeds but their viability was undetermined at the time of registration.

The registration materials state: "...large, upright plant with showy flowers and shiny leaves that develop some corrugation when mature."
