Hosta 'Glass Slipper'
 

Registered by Dr. Doug and Mardy Beilstein of Ohio in 2013, this cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a small size hosta about 6 inches high by 13 inches wide with dark green foliage that has a pure white medial (center) variegation. There is a transitional edge between the dark and the white of a lighter green leaf tissue. The leaves are lanceolate, moderately wavy and very shiny on top. Tubular flowers bloom from mid-August into September on scapes up to 26 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...small, variegated leaf with margin consisting of half very dark green, with a medium green (occasional) then finished off with a white medio half, middle of petiole is white to the base..."
