Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan. originated this hybrid of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' × an unidentified hosta. It was registered on his behalf by Rod Kuenster of Iowa in 2010. The medium size clump is about 12
inches high with a spread of around 20 inches of blue-green foliage that has
yellow and white streaked variegation. Its leaves are nearly round, slightly
rippled, lightly corrugated, lightly cupped and have a glaucous bloom on top.
The tubular shaped flowers bloom from June into July. It sets viable seeds.
