Hosta 'Gold Colleen'
 

The Genus HOSTA by W. George Schmid (1991). says that this cultivar was originated by Jere Houseworth of Holiday Seeds in Georgia. It is an upright, small size (8 inches high by 6 inches wide) seedling of H. 'Kabitan'. The lanceolate, yellow foliage turns green as the season progresses. Lavender flowers with purple stripes bloom in July followed by fertile seeds.
