Hosta 'Gold Colleen'

The Genus HOSTA by W. George Schmid (1991), says that this cultivar was originated by Houseworth. It is an upright, small size (8 inches high by 6 inches wide) seedling of H. 'Kabitan'. The lanceolate, yellow foliage turns green as the season progresses. Lavender flowers with purple stripes bloom in July followed by fertile seeds.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...may no longer exist..."
