Hosta 'Gold Country'

Registered by Randy Goodwin of Indiana in 2020, this giant size (30 inches high by 36 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It has greenish-yellow, nearly round foliage that is slightly twisted, moderately cupped, heavily corrugated and slightly shiny on top. Near white flowers bloom in June followed by viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "...Large clump of corrugated, downturned leaves that begin each season greenish yellow turning a bright golden yellow later...greenish yellow early turns a bright golden yellow later."
