Hosta 'Golden Bullion'

This cultivar which was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio on behalf of the originator, Pierre Bennerup of Connecticut, is considered a yellow leaved sport of H. 'Tokudama Flavocircinalis' from tissue culture. The plant is lutescent i.e. becomes more yellow as the season progresses. It is a medium size plant with bell-shaped, lavender flowers from late June into July.

Many feel that it is identical in appearance to H. 'Golden Medallion' according to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009).
