Hosta longipes
'Golden Dwarf'

This cultivar was listed on the MyHostas Database website. It is a non-registered sport of H. longipes from Japan. It is a small  size (8 inches high with a spread of 8 to 10 inches) with foliage that is chartreuse to lemon yellow, smooth textured and has thick substance. Leaves are very shiny underneath, slightly wavy and lanceolate with dark purple petioles. It has dense clusters of lavender flowers borne on 12 inch scapes in August into September.

In several ways, this cultivar is different from the species form and habit. One source called it "...a golden H. 'Tardiflora'..."
