Hosta 'Grandma's Gem'

This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Dorset Blue' which was registered by Ron Snyder of Minnesota in 2001. It is a small size hosta about 8 inches in height with gold colored foliage that changes to chartreuse. The leaves are ovate, slightly wavy and have thin substance. Pale purple flowers bloom from mid-June into July on 12 inch tall scapes.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...I cannot see any difference from 'Golden Scepter'."
