Hosta 'Grant Park'
 

This cultivar is a tissue culture sport of H. 'Marquette Park' which was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2006. It is a medium size plant about 18 inches high by 40 inches wide with bright green foliage. The leaves are ovate in shape. Pale purple flowers bloom from late July into August.

 



This is a park in downtown Chicago, Illinois. It is famous or infamous for being the site of the troubles during the 1968 Democratic Party convention.
