Hosta 'Gray Wolf'
 

Registered by Monty and Julie Carlson of Minnesota in 2013, this very large size (27 inches high by 66 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. The medium blue-green foliage is nearly round, heavily corrugated, slightly folded, moderately wavy, deeply cupped, slightly folded and has a glaucous bloom on top. Tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes up to 22 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...huge, deeply cupped, with a waxy bloom on top and bottom, flowers are hidden in the foliage..."
