Originated by Mark Zilis of T&Z or Q&Z Nursery in Illinois, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Moonlight Sonata'. It is an upright, slow growing hosta with thick texture. This cultivar forms a large size (20 inches high by 48 inches wide) mound of blue-green foliage which changes to green as the season progresses and has a creamy yellow marginal variegation.. Fragrant, pale lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August.

Several sources say that this cultivar is the same as H. 'Sagae'.
