Paul Aden
registered this cultivar in 1979 as a hybrid of H. 'Yellow Splash' and H. 'Neat Splash'.
It has medium sized (16 inches high) mound with a low growing habit
that is often used as a ground cover
hosta. Bright purple flowers are borne in late July to mid
August.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis
(2009) this cultivar "...reached its peak of popularity
during the 1980s...These days few nurseries offer it for sale
and most collectors do not bother growing it."
Similar cultivars include H. 'Cordelia',
H. 'Coquette', H. 'Queen
Josephine', H. 'Resonance', H. 'Spartan
Gem' and H. 'Yellow Brick Road'.
