Hosta 'Gullivar'

Registered by Sandy Brown of Michigan in 2008, this fast growing, upright cultivar is a hybrid of H. 'Sagae'. It becomes a giant size hosta about 35 inches high by 70 inches wide with medium green foliage. The leaves are broadly ovate, corrugated and very shiny on top. Lavender flowers with stripes bloom from June into July on scapes up to 70 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...large upright clump with branching scapes..."
