Hosta 'Hamachidori'

This non-registered cultivar was originated by Shinya Fukatsu of Japan. According to an article by the originator in The British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society Journal (Autumn 2019) this is a small size hosta of unidentified background. The powdery green foliage has a heavy amount of creamy white streaked variegation It bears smallish white flowers with purplish stripes on the inside center of the flowers.

'Hama' means beach and 'chidori' is the name of a small beach bird called a plover.
