Hosta 'Harold Read'

There is an image of this cultivar on the Hosta Library. From the photo on the HL website, it appears to be a medium to large size hosta with blue-green leaves and a wide creamy yellow medial (center) variegation. It bears very pale lavender flowers.

The Dorset Perennials website from the UK says, "A fine Hosta of the sieboldiana type which you would be forgiven for thinking was just another blue in the Spring. However as the weeks progress the centre of each broad puckered leaf turns gradually to a creamy yellow leaving just a narrow blue margin."
