This is a self pollinated
seedling of H. 'Holly's Honey', that was
registered by
Dr. Ralph
(Herb) Benedict in 1987. It forms a medium sized (17 inches high) mound that has heavily rippled, shiny, dark green leaves.
The
flowers are bell-shaped, purple and appear in mid-July to
August.
Similar cultivars include H. 'Holly's
Shine' and H. 'Holly's Velvet Piecrust'.
