This is a self pollinated
seedling of H. 'Holly's Honey', that was
registered by
Dr. Ralph
(Herb) Benedict in 1987. It forms a large sized (21
inches high) mound that has shiny, dark green leaves that are
twisted at the tip. The
flowers are bell-shaped, purple and appear in July.
Similar cultivars include H. 'Holly's
Dazzler'.
