Hosta 'Holmen Class of '59'

Registered by Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2017, this medium size (12 inches high by 32 inches wide), slow growing cultivar is of unidentified parentage. The leaves are greenish-yellow, broadly ovate, slightly rippled and dull on top. Medium lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes 14 to 26 inches tall. It bears seeds but their viability was undetermined at the time of registration.

The registration materials state: "...Very tight, well populated cluster of greenish yellow leaves...turns more yellow as season progresses."
