Hosta 'Hooray!'

Registered by Bill Struhar of Michigan in 2018, this large size (19 inches high by 48 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of unidentified parentage. It has apple green to chartreuse colored foliage with a golden-yellow marginal variegation. The leaves are slightly rippled, broadly ovate, heavily corrugated and dull on top. Near white flowers bloom from mid-June into July on scapes about 30 inches tall followed by viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "...Medium sized clump of apple green leaves with wide, irregular gold margins...near white buds with pale lavender blush towards the tip opens to reveal pale lavender blush both inside and out."
