Hosta 'Horse of a Different Color'

 

Registered by Randy Goodwin of Indiana in 2019, this medium size (13 inches high by 24 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It has greenish-yellow foliage with flat margins. The leaves are broadly ovate and relatively flat overall. Pale purple, bell-shaped flowers with whitish edges bloom in July. It does not set seeds.

The registration materials state: "...Displays unique colors throughout the season...pale blue-green in spring to an unusual greenish-yellow hue in summer."
