Hosta 'Hot Diggity Dog'

This seedling of H. 'Sea Prize' was registered by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 1998. The upright growing, medium size (15 inches high by 18 inches wide) plant has chartreuse to gold leaves with yellow to white marginal variegation. Its leaves are moderately corrugated and slightly cupped. White flowers bloom from late June into July followed by viable seeds.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Slow to increase. A superb introduction that deserves more recognition."
