Hosta 'Hypnotic'

Registered by Randy Goodwin of Indiana in 2018, this upright growing cultivar is a small size (10 inches high by 18 inches wide) seedling of unidentified parentage. The dark grayish-green foliage has cream to greenish-white marginal variegation. Its leaves are nearly round, heavily cupped, moderately folded, heavily corrugated, slightly wavy and very shiny on top. Medium lavender flowers with very faint stripes bloom from mid-July into August on scapes 12 to 18 inches tall followed by viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "...unusual gray-green color on extremely cupped, totally corrugated blade with dark-creamy to greenish-white margins."
