Hosta 'Dorset Flair'

This cultivar is part of the Tardiana Group of hostas developed by Eric Smith in England in the 1960's. It was registered in 1990 by Peter Ruh as a cross  between H. 'Tardiflora' and H. sieboldiana 'Elegans'.

The plant forms a medium sized (16 inches high) mound and has near white to pale lavender flowers in mid-August to September. Its foliage is slightly wavy and corrugated with thick substance.

Similar cultivars include H. 'Hadspen Blue'.
