Hosta 'Ice Age'

Registered by Tom Schmid of Michigan in 2002, this medium size (10 inches high by 28 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. The leaves are dark green to greenish yellow with a pure white medial (center) variegation. Its foliage is broadly ovate, slightly wavy and slightly shiny on top. Near white, lavender striped flowers bloom from mid-August into September on scapes up to 30 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...impressive white center with some green and greenish yellow streaking from the margin toward the center..."
