This non-registered cultivar was
originated by
Bob
Balitewicz in 2007. The rich blue foliage
forms a medium sized (16 inches high) mound of thick foliage. It is considered "Tardiana"
like in form.
According to
The Hostapedia by
Mark Zilis
(2009), "Bob Balitewicz and I compared this seedling of his
with another of his introductions, 'Yankee
Blue', and found that 'Indiana Blue' had a much deeper
color in late June."
