This cultivar is a sport of H. 'Rotini' from Dr. Doug Beilstein of Ohio which was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2009. It forms a large size mound about 27 inches high by 52 inches wide with blue-green foliage which turns to dark green later in the season. The leaves are moderately corrugated, ovate and have a glaucous bloom on top. It bears tubular flowers from June into July.
