Hosta 'Jipson Place City Shadows'

Originated by K. Anderson but registered by Dick Butler and Dr Jamie Street of Indiana in 2016, this upright growing cultivar is a sport of H. 'City Lights'. It forms a large size clump about 24 inches high by 56 inches wide. The leaves are medium to dark green with a greenish yellow medial (center) variegation. Its foliage is lightly corrugated, cupped both up and down and dull on top. Flowers bloom from June into July on scapes up to 27 inches tall.

The registration materials state: "Upright with overlapping streaks at the base. Dark margins against yellow center makes a striking display that catches your eye from a distance."
