Hosta 'John Deere Green and Yellow'

Registered by Franc Freeman of Iowa in 2010, this upright growing, medium size (16 inches high by 27 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a dark green hosta with "butter" gold marginal variegation. The leaves are broadly ovate, slightly cupped, slightly rippled and dull on top. Spider shape flowers bloom from mid-August into September on scapes up to 22 inches tall.
