A picture of this
cultivar was shown in The British Hosta and Hemerocallis
Society Journal (Vol. 5 Autumn Issue 2021). Originated
by
Sue and Richard Proctor of England, this miniature
cultivar is a hybrid of H. 'Yakushima
Mizu' ×
H. 'El Nino'.
It is a blue-green, miniature size hosta with dark
purple blooms. It is said to be sun tolerant and holds
its color well into the summer months.
This
name is the genus of an insect called the common buckeye
butterfly or Blue Pansy. |
