Hosta 'Kettle Moraine'

Registered by Bob Geske & Justin Geske of Geske Gardens of Wisconsin in 2022, this fast growing cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a giant size hosta about 28 inches high by 62 inches wide with dark green foliage. The broadly ovate leaves are heavily corrugated, convexly cupped, slightly shiny on top and has widely spaced veins. Medium lavender flowers bloom from June into July.

The registration materials state: "Velvety green mound with extremely large, corrugated leaves."

According to Google, "The Kettle Moraine is an area of varied topography — parallel, steep-sided ridges, conical hills and flat outwash plains, mostly composed of sand and gravel located in Wisconsin."
