Hosta 'Ki-renjyaku'

This non-registered cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by Shinya Fukatsu of Japan. According to an article by the originator in The British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society Journal (Autumn 2019) this is a medium to large size hosta with bright cream colored, stable double flowers. It is noted for having solid scapes which keep the heavy flowers in an upright position. The light green, yellowish leaves are nearly round in shape and have an upright form.

This cultivar was created in 2003 at the same time as another double flowering plant named H. 'Hi-renjyaku'.

This hosta is sometimes called 'Ki Ren Jyaku' or 'Ki-Ren Jyaku'
