Longwood Gardens
in Pennsylvania, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of
H. kikutii. It is a large size hosta about 20
inches high with green foliage. The leaves are shiny and
narrow with lightly rippled margins. It forms a
"beak-like" bract around the flower buds and bears
clusters of near white flowers with purple anthers from
late August into September. They produce viable seeds. Mikiko Lockwood in an article on The Hosta Library titled,
