Hosta 'Kitty Hawk'

A seedling of H. 'Sum and Substance', this cultivar was registered by Roy Herold of Massachusetts in 2000. It becomes a medium size plant about 11 inches high with a spread of 30 inches. The light gold colored leaves are narrowly ovate, slightly rippled and have a slight bloom beneath. Pale lavender flowers bloom in August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...shows very little relationship to 'Sum and Substance', except for its gold foliage color."
