This cultivar is a self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Blue Cadet' which is part of the "Kiwi Series" of hostas from Barry Sligh of Taunton Gardens in New Zealand. Registered in 1999, it becomes a medium size plant with blue-green foliage of thick substance. White flowers bloom from late June into July.
