This self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Sieboldiana' was registered in 1999 by Barry Sligh of Taunton Gardens in New Zealand. It is a miniature size plant about 3½ inches high with blue-green foliage. Lavender flowers bloom from July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...the description implies H. sieboldii × H. sieboldii. The flower color, number of vein pairs, scape height, leaf size, etc. all point to something other than H. 'Sieboldiana' as its most likely parent."
