Hosta 'Ko Urajiro'

Of unidentified origin in Japan, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a blue-green hosta.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...probably refers to 'Urajiro Ko Iwa'..."

Mikiko Lockwood in an article on The Hosta Library titled, A Little About Japanese Hosta Terms defines the term iwa as rock, Iwa Gibōshi or H. longipes and the term urajiro as white-backed or white underside.
