Hosta 'Komodo Dragon'

A seedling of H. 'Donahue Piecrust', this cultivar was registered by Mildred Seaver of Massachusetts in 2004. It is a large size hosta about 28 inches high by 6 feet wide with slightly corrugated, vase shaped foliage with thick substance. The pale lavender flowers bloom from late June.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "An impressive specimen for the woodland garden...attractive regular, shallow piecrust leaf edge."
