The Genus HOSTA by
W. George Schmid (1991), says
that this cultivar originated in Japan of unidentified parentage. The foliage is a blue-green hosta
with whitish leaf bottoms. It bears light purple,
fragrant flowers. The Japanese name means "balmy
(fragrant) breeze (hosta)".
